Job summary

SalesBountyHunter is seeking a Paralegal who provides substantive litigation support to all litigation teams, leading discovery management, deposition and trial preparation, factual research, and cross-border investigations, in partnership with Administrative Legal Assistants.

The role emphasizes document production, privilege logs, case chronologies, and high-quality, attorney-client privileged work product, with a target of 1,300–1,500 billable hours annually.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience with discovery and trial prep.
  • Experience managing e-discovery and large document productions.
  • Strong legal research and citation-checking skills.
  • Excellent written communication and organization; able to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead document collection, processing, and production prep with privilege logs.
  • Prepare deposition exhibits, summaries, and trial binders.
  • Develop chronologies, timelines, and conduct fact investigations.
  • Coordinate with foreign counsel on cross-border matters.
  • Assist with court e-filings, calendars, and conflict checks.
  • Maintain annual billable hours target of 1,300–1,500.

Job description

Our client is seeking a Paralegal who provides substantive litigation support to all litigation teams based on case demands. The role leads discovery management, deposition and trial preparation, factual research, and white-collar/investigation support while partnering closely with administrative Legal Assistants.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $125,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Discovery & Document Management: Lead document collection, processing, and database management; handle production preparation (Bates stamping, redactions, QC); prepare privilege logs; and draft discovery requests and responses.
  • Deposition, Trial & Case Materials: Prepare deposition exhibits and summaries, organize witness files, and serve as lead support for trial preparation, exhibits, and binders.
  • Factual Research & Analysis: Develop chronologies and timelines, conduct fact investigations, perform legal research and citation checks, and draft initial pleadings and motions.
  • Investigations & Cross-Border Matters: Lead document reviews for internal investigations, organize white-collar evidence, and coordinate with foreign counsel on South America matters.
  • Strategy & Privileged Work: Participate in case strategy discussions and produce high-level, attorney-client privileged substantive work product.
  • Shared & Support Duties: Assist with court e-filings, litigation calendars, routine correspondence, new matter intake details, and conflict checks as a backup to legal assistants.
  • Billing Requirement: Maintain a minimum annual billable hour requirement of 1,300 hours (with high performers targeting 1,500+ hours).
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including hands-on discovery and trial preparation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing e-discovery / litigation document review platforms and large document productions (including redactions, Bates stamping, and privilege log preparation).
  • Strong legal research and citation-checking skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple litigation teams.
  • Ability to handle confidential and privileged information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting white-collar defense and internal investigations.
  • Experience with cross-border matters and coordination with foreign counsel; bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred given the firm’s South America matters.
  • Notary public commission or willingness to obtain.
