Job summary

Boly-Welch Inc is seeking a Paralegal for a busy boutique plaintiffs’ firm handling complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases. This in-office role partners with another paralegal and seasoned legal assistant on state and federal matters.

You will prepare discovery, billing and lien summaries, manage calendars, deadlines, and draft correspondence and pleadings, while maintaining discretion with sensitive information and strong client interfacing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury required; local courts and plaintiffs’ work preferred.
• Experience with billing and lien summaries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Your New Role:

This busy boutique plaintiffs’ firm is seeking a Paralegal to join their talented legal team handling complex medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

In this full-scope case management role, you’ll partner with another paralegal and seasoned legal assistant on cases in both state and federal courts. Your responsibilities will include preparing and organizing discovery and billing and lien summaries, maintaining calendars and tracking deadlines, and drafting correspondence and pleadings. Strong communication skills will be key as you’ll interface with clients and coordinate with experts and witnesses.

The team is seeking someone who’s collegial, proactive, and discreet when handling sensitive information.

This is an in-office role with some flexibility. You’ll benefit from working alongside your tenured colleagues each day and contributing to meaningful client outcomes.
