Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking a paralegal with 4+ years of civil litigation experience to join our Farmington Hills office. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of litigation, draft pleadings and discovery, manage calendars, and conduct research. Excellent writing, organization, and discretion are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years paralegal experience in civil litigation.
• Strong understanding of litigation procedure, court rules, and case management.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Paralegal Certificate or degree in Legal Studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case development, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, motions, and summaries.
• Organize and analyze documentation including accident reports, medical records, insurance materials, and expert reports.
• Manage case calendars, track court deadlines, and maintain attorney schedules.
• Conduct legal and factual research related to liability and damages.
• Communicate directly with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare exhibits, witness files, and other materials for depositions, mediations, and trial.
• Assist with court filings, including Michigan State and Federal E-Filing procedures.
• Maintain organized case files in both electronic and physical formats.
• Assist with billing and time entry as needed.

Job Summary
