Job summary

Herrman & Herrman, P.L.L.C. is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to be a part of our growing firm in Houston, TX. The candidate must be able to work independently, be detail oriented, organized, and a team player.

Job duties include drafting discovery requests and responses, drafting motions, preparing for trial, and scheduling court dates and client meetings. Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a competitive starting wage and benefits after a 90-day probationary

Qualifications

• 3 years of legal experience required.
• Strong ability to manage a high docket count.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The individual must be able to work independently, essentially detail oriented, organized, and a team player. This person must also be a self-starter, efficient, and possess the ability to manage a high docket count under the supervision of an attorney.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing for trial
• Scheduling Court Dates and Client Meetings
• Meeting with Clients
• Using a Web-based Case Management System

This is a full time position. Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday. We offer a competitive starting wage and benefits that include health, dental & vision insurance and PTO policy after a 90 day probationary period.

Must be experienced in Word, Excel, & Adobe.

3 Years of Legal Experience is REQUIRED.'
