Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP in Dallas–Downtown seeks an enthusiastic Paralegal to support civil litigation attorneys. The role is 100% in-office with no remote option.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years paralegal experience, civil litigation exposure, and a bachelor’s degree with a paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program. Strong organization, communication, and research skills are essential to manage discovery, summaries, and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Civil litigation experience required.
• Familiarity with web-based legal research services.
• Experience working with paperless files; iManage is a plus.
• Must pass a background/drug screen.
• Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from ABA approved program.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with the preparation of a civil case for trial.
• Discovery and records management.
• Summarize medical and employment records, create medical chronologies, summarize discovery responses, prepare meet and confer correspondence.
• Motion writing experience, including oppositions to motions and discovery motions.
• Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Organize and prioritize tasks and work under time constraints with minimal supervision and high attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:
