Job summary

RemotePeople's client, a well-established Dallas-area law firm, seeks an organized, detail-oriented Paralegal to support attorneys with case management, legal research, and document preparation. You will manage files from intake through resolution, assist with drafting pleadings and correspondence, track deadlines, and coordinate with clients and courts while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; associate's or bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a legal-support role is preferred; training is available for the right candidate.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the ability to handle multiple cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with legal case management or e-filing software is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
