Job summary

Pacifico Energy, a global energy infrastructure firm, seeks a detail-oriented Paralegal to support the growing legal department in Dallas. You will work with GC/AGC and cross-functionally on commercial contracts, governance, and project development, handling NDAs, vendor and service agreements, and closing documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating due diligence, maintaining closing docs, supporting financing transactions, and managing corporate records with DocuSign and CLM systems.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm supporting transactional matters.
  • Experience supporting commercial contracts, corporate governance, or transactional legal work.
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management software.

Responsibilities

  • Review, organize, track, and archive a variety of legal documents and commercial agreements, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), service agreements, consulting agreements, vendor contracts, amendments, and other project-related documents.
  • Support real estate and project transactions by coordinating due diligence materials, organizing transaction checklists, maintaining closing documentation, and assisting with title, property, and land-related documentation.
  • Support equity and debt financing transactions by organizing legal documentation, coordinating signature packages, tracking transaction deliverables, and working with internal stakeholders and outside counsel throughout the transaction process.
  • Maintain corporate records, legal entity documentation, contract files, and document repositories while ensuring legal records remain accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Coordinate document execution through DocuSign and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle by tracking deadlines, renewals, and key obligations.
  • Help establish and maintain document management and contract management systems, including creating organized filing structures and supporting future contract lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and assist with legal correspondence, meeting materials, reports, and other administrative support for the legal department.
  • Track outside counsel matters and invoices, coordinate legal requests, and provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the legal function.
  • Partner with Development, EPC, Finance, Human Resources, Executive Leadership, and outside counsel to support legal and transactional matters across the organization.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support Pacifico's growing legal department. This role will work closely with the General Counsel and Associate General Counsel while partnering with Development, Finance, HR, EPC, and Executive Leadership to support commercial contracting, corporate governance, project development, and other legal matters across the business.

  • Experience creating and maintaining organized legal filing systems and document repositories.
  • Experience with DocuSign, SharePoint, or similar document management platforms.
