Job Description
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of commercial contracts (NDAs, MSAs, supply agreements, consulting agreements, etc.)
- Maintain and update contract templates; support best practices in contract lifecycle management
- Manage routing, approvals, signatures, and archiving of agreements
Legal & Corporate Support
- Support the General Counsel with day-to-day legal operations
- Coordinate with internal teams across R&D, clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions
- Assist in maintaining internal legal and compliance documentation
Data Privacy & Compliance
- Help implement and maintain privacy compliance programs aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.
- Assist with reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and tracking evolving privacy regulations
- Support incident response processes and impact assessments
Export Controls & Trade Compliance
- Provide support for identifying export control requirements under EAR, ITAR, and other trade laws
- Assist with product classifications, due diligence, and recordkeeping for international shipments
- Collaborate on training and audit readiness
ESG & Sustainability Support
- Support ESG reporting, policy development, and cross-functional initiatives
- Track regulatory trends and help prepare internal communications and disclosures
Research & Risk Analysis
- Conduct legal research related to regulations and trends in the life sciences space
- Prepare summaries, risk assessments, and internal guidance documents
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between legal and other teams including HR, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and IT
- Coordinate with external counsel on select matters and project work

The Successful Applicant
A successful Paralegal should have:
- Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal certificate preferred
- 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the life sciences, biotech, pharma, or healthcare sectors
- Strong experience drafting and managing commercial agreements
- Prior exposure to compliance, data privacy, or export control work a strong plus
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to operate in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-moving team
