About Our Client

Job Description

Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and revise a variety of commercial contracts (NDAs, MSAs, supply agreements, consulting agreements, etc.)
  • Maintain and update contract templates; support best practices in contract lifecycle management
  • Manage routing, approvals, signatures, and archiving of agreements

Legal & Corporate Support

  • Support the General Counsel with day-to-day legal operations
  • Coordinate with internal teams across R&D, clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions
  • Assist in maintaining internal legal and compliance documentation

Data Privacy & Compliance

  • Help implement and maintain privacy compliance programs aligned with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, etc.
  • Assist with reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and tracking evolving privacy regulations
  • Support incident response processes and impact assessments

Export Controls & Trade Compliance

  • Provide support for identifying export control requirements under EAR, ITAR, and other trade laws
  • Assist with product classifications, due diligence, and recordkeeping for international shipments
  • Collaborate on training and audit readiness

ESG & Sustainability Support

  • Support ESG reporting, policy development, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Track regulatory trends and help prepare internal communications and disclosures

Research & Risk Analysis

  • Conduct legal research related to regulations and trends in the life sciences space
  • Prepare summaries, risk assessments, and internal guidance documents

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between legal and other teams including HR, Finance, Operations, Regulatory, and IT
  • Coordinate with external counsel on select matters and project work

The Successful Applicant

A successful Paralegal should have:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal certificate preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the life sciences, biotech, pharma, or healthcare sectors
  • Strong experience drafting and managing commercial agreements
  • Prior exposure to compliance, data privacy, or export control work a strong plus
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-moving team
