The ideal candidate for this position has strong experience in family law, preparing legal documents, working with clients, and preparing the case and attorneys for trial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all tasks are performed and deadlines met; keep the case on track and moving at all times.
• Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings such as petition packages with disclosures, requests for orders/motions, discovery (propound and respond), subpoenas, trial briefs, witness and exhibit lists, and judgments under the supervision of a lawyer.
• Communicate and work closely with clients to gather information and documents, and provide them with regular updates on their case.
• Be highly computer literate; work with Smokeball and manage multiple monitors.
• Track time spent accurately and diligently.
• Supervise and lead an assigned legal assistant.
• Uphold a zero‑tolerance policy for unprofessional behavior toward clients and employees.
