Mark Gray Law is seeking a paralegal to join our boutique law firm for a full-time, in-office role. The primary responsibility of this paralegal position is to perform certain legal services under the direct supervision of firm lawyers in probate and trust administration, real estate law, and other firm practice areas.A person in this position must be able to demonstrate professional integrity, attention to detail, and good judgment. A professional image, excellent communication and strong organizational skills are required. Desirable candidates are those with one to three years of experience in the foregoing matters, but on the job training is provided. A Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate is preferred.

2. One to three years of applicable experience in a document intensive, detail oriented environment.
3. A Paralegal Certificate or a Bachelor’s Degree.
4. Ability to perform duties according to the policies, procedures and instructions set forth by the supervising lawyer(s).
5. Proficient speed and accuracy with Microsoft Office products.
6. Ability to provide excellent service in the form of prompt and courteous interaction with both internal and external relationships. This includes an obligation to actively cooperate and interact with others to advance the overall interests of the firm.
7. Ability to learn and understand the procedures, legal and tax implications, legal documents, and timelines in the areas of practice above.

9. Communicates in an accurate, clear, professional, friendly and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, with clients and other legal and financial professionals outside of the firm.
10. Ability to learn the process to E-file legal documents such as court pleadings, real estate documents and Secretary of State documents.
