Job Summary

High School diploma (or equivalent) AND 48 college units or an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or passing score (70%) in both ELA and Math on the Paraprofessional Exam administered by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools, located at 970 Klamath Lane, Yuba City, (530) 822-2900. YOU MUST ATTACH PROOF OF THIS REQUIREMENT BY EITHER ATTACHING A COPY OF COLLEGE TRANSCRIPTS OR A COPY OF THE PARAPROFESSIONAL LETTER SHOWING PASSING SCORE OF 70% IN BOTH ELA AND MATH.

Requirements / Qualifications

Application posting periods are as follows:

  • Lateral transfer posting: first 3 days (6/18/2025 – 6/20/2025)
  • Promotional/qualified internal applicants considered after no lateral interest, 5 days (6/18/2025 – 6/22/2025)
  • Outside applicants considered after all qualified in-district applicants are interviewed, 10 days (6/18/2025 – 6/27/2025)
District or end-of-month paid employees (excluding timesheet and probationary status) should apply during the first 5 days of the posting period. Probationary employees will be considered with external applicants.
Requirements: High School diploma (or equivalent) AND 48 college units or an Associate or Bachelor's degree, or passing score (70%) in both ELA and Math on the Paraprofessional Exam. ATTACH PROOF OF THIS REQUIREMENT BY EITHER TRANSCRIPTS OR THE PASSING LETTER. Applications are accepted online only, including a resume and two letters of recommendation. Support documents must be attached before submission. Post-application review and interviews are conducted by administration. The district reserves the right to waive requirements and qualifications.
