Job summary

Auburn School District is seeking a Special Education Paraeducator 1:1 to support students with individualized needs. The position runs Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours per day, within our 180-work-day calendar, and placement may change by building assignment.

Starting pay is $28.82 per hour (Para 3), with details in the salary schedule on the Human Resources site. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications and upload diploma and eligible credits or assessment.

Paraeducator Minimum Qualifications

To be eligible for employment, candidates must upload to their application:

  • A copy of their high school diploma AND
  • Documentation of one of the following:
  • A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higher OR
  • 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher courses OR
  • Official documentation of a passing score on Washington State approved assessment*
