Job summary

The Auburn School District is hiring a paraeducator for the Resource Room at Evergreen Heights Elementary School. The position runs 6.0 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a 180-day work calendar and a PSEA unit classification.

• AA degree or 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits or a passing score on WA assessment may meet eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in the Resource Room and assist with instructional activities.
• Assist teachers with classroom management and student supervision as assigned.

Paraeducator Minimum Qualifications:

To be eligible for employment, candidates must upload to their application:

• A copy of their high school diplomaAND
• Documentation of one of the following:
  a. A copy of an official college transcript indicating an AA degree or higherOR
  b. 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100 level and higher coursesOR
  c. Official documentation of a passing score on Washington State approved assessment*
