Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required; bachelor’s preferred and coursework in education (behavior management, instructional strategies).
• At least 48 college credits and two years in a structured setting; ParaPro score 455+ required.
• Experience in applying instructional strategies and managing classroom behavior.
• Combinations of education/training/experience that provide the needed capabilities are considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate student mastery of grade-level curriculum or Alternate Academic Achievement Standards.
• Provide instructional and classroom management supports to teachers.
• Perform clerical tasks to support teachers and professional staff.
• Support students with IEPs and related services (Twice Exceptional, Learning & Academic Disabilities/RES).
