Job summary

Cresthaven Elementary School in Silver Spring is seeking a Paraeducator Level I for Special Education and a Lunch Hour Aide combo, 5 hours per day over 10 months. This role supports students with IEPs under the supervision of the principal and classroom staff.

The position starts at grade 13 with potential promotion to grade 14 after probation and training hours. Familiarity with Google Workspace and standard software is preferred; flexibility in schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Nine education-related credits encouraged; 48 college credits acceptable.
• Passing ParaPro Assessment (455+) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with students in structured educational settings preferred.
• Ability to work with students with special needs.

Responsibilities
