Job summary

Rainbows United, Inc. in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Paraeducator to support typically developing children and children with developmental disabilities in a preschool setting aged 2 to 5 years.

This part-time position runs Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, assisting the Teacher with feeding, activities, and classroom duties. You will help assess children's day-to-day needs, contribute to lesson planning, document progress, and maintain open communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year working with special needs children or children aged 2 to 5 years preferred.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Maintain a minimum of 16 KDHE approved training hours annually by attending staff trainings.

Job Summary

A Paraeducator serves typically developing children and children with developmental disabilities in a pre-school setting aged 2 years (24 months) to 5 years. The person in this role aids in the classroom with duties that include feeding, diapering, toileting, participating in activities/games and housekeeping duties. This is a part-time position.
