Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in San Diego seeks enthusiastic Ambassadors for a seasonal role during the Christmas Celebration Season. You will operate parade floats, assist with props, and ensure safety and professionalism on and off the float.

Requires high school diploma, ability to lift 50 pounds, valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays. Experience in live shows is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds required.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license with no major infractions.
• Experience operating heavy machinery preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings, holidays

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver parade floats weighing up to 16,500lbs.
• Drive parade floats along parade route and into/out of storage.
• Start-of-day checks on parade floats and logging of performance.
• Tow other float units and assist with props and show equipment readiness.
• Operate on-board show control, audio, lighting, video and effects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and wear PPE.
• Follow safety guidelines and predefined routes and cues.
• Present a professional appearance meeting grooming standards.
