Job summary

People, Technology & Processes seeks a Program Manager to oversee the air item maintenance shop supporting E Co, 189th DSSB, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC. The role requires directing a qualified rigger workforce and delivering 100% technical rigger inspections, repairs, and fabrications under the contract.

The candidate must have supervisory DoD experience and hold a DoD-approved Parachute Rigger Course, with responsibility for safety, quality control, and timely contract

Qualifications

  • Verified supervisory experience in a military or DoD Aerial Delivery Facility, as military or civilian.
  • Qualified/parachute rigger expertise for Army-type parachute systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the contractor's single point of authority for all contract matters relating to daily operations.
  • Be available 0830 to 1730, Monday through Friday, to act for the contractor.
  • Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Control Plan and Quality Control Program.
  • Ensure shop personnel complete the six-week (42 working day) E Co certification and training program.
  • Oversee 100% Technical Rigger Inspections, maintenance, alterations, and repairs across all supported parachute systems.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly activity reports and all required contract deliverables.
  • Plan and execute phase-in and phase-out activities to sustain continuity of services.
