Overview

The Parachute Rigger/Driver performs technical functions related to parachutes and aerial delivery equipment, including inspection, repair, modification, and rigging. The role involves supervising or packing parachutes, rigging supplies for airdrop, and driving large vehicles, requiring a valid CDL.

Responsibilities
  1. Rig, inspect, and prepare Air Delivery Platforms and parachutes.
  2. Load, unload, and transport equipment and personnel.
  3. Fabricate and assemble airdrop components.
  4. Inspect and repair parachutes and associated equipment.
  5. Operate heavy vehicles safely and in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in shop mechanics and science.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid CDL and ability to operate heavy vehicles in various conditions.
  • Willingness to attend Rigger's school if not certified.
Physical & Working Conditions

Work is performed in controlled and outdoor environments, requiring lifting up to 50 pounds, and physical agility to traverse terrain and operate equipment.

Terms & Requirements
  • U.S. Citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and CDL with endorsements.
  • Compliance with drug testing, background checks, and security clearance requirements.
