Akima Technical Solutions is seeking a Technical Services Engineer Asc (PR) to work in Yuma, Arizona. Join our team of outstanding professionals by applying today!

Responsibilities

1. Have parachute packing knowledge and expertise to ensure parachutes are packed safely and efficiently.
2. Be an FAA Senior Rated Parachute Rigger and able to provide certification documentation to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) within 24 hours of hire.
3. Capable of packing three main parachutes in 21 minutes.

Qualifications

1. Experience directly related to the required tasks and functions.
2. FAA Senior Rated Parachute Rigger with certification documentation.
3. Familiarity with Performance Designs Main Canopies: Specter, Saber II, Icarus Main Canopy, Crossfire 2.
4. Ability to pack three main parachutes in 21 minutes.
5. U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
7. Ability to pass a drug screening and undergo random drug tests throughout the employment period.
8. Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
