Olathe Public Schools is seeking a Substitute Para to support special needs students across elementary, middle, and high schools. This position allows for up to 7 hours of work per day in a flexible role, with placement varying between schools as needed.

The ideal candidate should be prepared to assist students with personal needs and may be required to lift them. A background clearance, TB test, and physical are also necessary for this role.

POSITION TITLE: Substitute Para

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: To Be Determined on as needed basis

STATUS: Classified

HOURS OF WORK: up to 7 hours per day

STARTING SALARY: $18.50 hourly

POSITION SUMMARY: The placement could be in one location for one or several days at a time. Can choose either Elementary, Middle, or High school hours. Working with special need Students PK-12 may require lifting and help with personal needs.

CLEARANCES REQUIRED: Background Clearance, TB Test and physical
