Bell & Evans in Fredericksburg, PA is hiring a Par Fry Machine Operator to join the Tavil Department. You will weigh and label product cases, verify tray counts and ensure the correct labels and production dates are applied, while maintaining food-safety standards.

This full-time, fast-paced role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior manufacturing or labeling equipment experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating weighing or labeling equipment is a plus.
• No formal education is required.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and label product cases accurately before shipment.
• Verify tray counts and ensure correct labels and production dates.
• Identify products and use appropriate packaging, including Organic and RWA boxes.
• Operate the weight-price labeling machine and verify printed information.
• Ensure case labels match product and master case label information.
• Change label rolls and perform basic maintenance of labeling equipment.
• Clean and maintain the scale and work area at shift end.
• Assist with hand-stacking and palletizing cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Immediately report and address any food safety, quality, or safety concerns.
• Follow all company policies, GMPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Do

• Weigh and label product cases accurately before they are boxed and prepared for shipment.
• Verify tray counts and ensure the correct labels and production dates are applied.
• Identify products and use the appropriate packaging, including Organic and RWA (Raised Without Antibiotics) boxes.
• Operate the weight-price labeling machine and verify that all printed information is accurate.
• Ensure all case labels match the product and master case label information.
• Change label rolls and perform basic maintenance of labeling equipment as needed.
• Clean and maintain the scale and work area at the end of each shift.
• Assist with hand-stacking and palletizing cases weighing up to 50 pounds when production requires.
• Immediately report and address any food safety, quality, or workplace safety concerns.
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and/or Spanish.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, and operating procedures.
• Ability to complete routine documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
