BallenIsles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, seeks a Golf Course Assistant Superintendent to help grow-in and open a new Par 3 golf course starting summer 2026. Excellent benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, meals, uniforms, and other voluntary options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in agronomy, horticulture, or plant/soil science required.
• Two years of related experience required; combination of education and experience acceptable.
• A valid Florida driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
• Florida pesticide applicator license required; ability to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Superintendent to maintain the annual maintenance budget and capital plans.
• Supervise and assist maintenance staff in daily duties.
• Assist in planning and directing maintenance and construction of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers.
• Supervise planting and cultural practices for turf, trees, and ornamentals.
• Ensure equipment operates properly and report issues to Equipment Managers.

Education

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in agronomy, horticulture, or plant/soil science

Two years of related experience

Valid FL driver's license

Florida pesticide applicator license
