Krono Group in Alabama is seeking a Paper Treater Operator to oversee the safe and efficient operation of the paper treating line and related equipment. The role includes routine maintenance, line software interaction, and ensuring quality while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

The position requires strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Paper Treater Operator

The Paper Treater Operator's position is to perform all assigned tasks, including but not limited to, the safe, efficient operations of the paper treating and associated equipment. Additionally, the operator will be required to perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility. The operator will be required to understand and manipulate computer software related to the operation of the paper treating line and associated equipment. The operator will also be required to identify conditions which may lead to off-quality or equipment downtime and initiate the proper corrective action. Further duties may include assisting maintenance personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.
