Job summary

USG in Minnesota (Otsego) seeks a Utility worker to support the production department by performing daily tasks directed by the Production Foreman, with emphasis on quality and housekeeping.

The role requires strict adherence to safety rules, ability to operate forklifts and similar equipment, and willingness to work overtime as needed. You will log production data, assist in tests, and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform essential physical requirements.
• Must know, understand, and follow all applicable safety rules.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Foreman with daily tasks focused on quality and housekeeping.
• Follow safety program components and participate in 5S initiatives.
• Log production data in MDIS and monitor testing equipment.
• Assist with test methods and communicate results to supervisors.
• Help maintain housekeeping and assist with downstream process support.
