What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure customers receive Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) equipment by scheduling appointments for pickups and providing usage instructions
- Prepare and submit audit paperwork for Medicare and other insurance claims to ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines
- Monitor and manage all clients using PAP devices, encouraging compliance and understanding
- Develop and maintain knowledge of current home medical equipment products and insurance guidelines
- Collaborate with physician offices and internal teams to ensure timely documentation and education
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center, or management
- For senior level, two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience
- Exact job experience includes tasks in a Medicare certified home medical equipment, diabetic, pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment that routinely bills insurance
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
