What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Ensure customers receive Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) equipment by scheduling appointments for pickups and providing usage instructions
  • Prepare and submit audit paperwork for Medicare and other insurance claims to ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines
  • Monitor and manage all clients using PAP devices, encouraging compliance and understanding
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current home medical equipment products and insurance guidelines
  • Collaborate with physician offices and internal teams to ensure timely documentation and education
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of work-related experience in healthcare administrative, financial, or insurance customer services, claims, billing, call center, or management
  • For senior level, two (2) years of work-related experience and one (1) year of exact job experience
  • Exact job experience includes tasks in a Medicare certified home medical equipment, diabetic, pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment that routinely bills insurance
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience in a Medicare certified home medical equipment environment
  • Familiarity with compliance training and healthcare documentation requirements
  • Strong communication skills for educating clients and collaborating with teams
  • Previous experience in a customer service role within healthcare
