Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Food Pantry Operations Manager responsible for procurement and distribution of food, volunteer supervision, and community liaison activities related to food insecurity.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations at three pantry locations (Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach).
  • Visit each location weekly; more visits as needed.
  • Manage inventory, coordinate orders, and oversee food bank reporting.
  • Work with vendors within budget; manage food waste and pantry traffic.
  • Coordinate volunteer scheduling, deliveries, and special occasion distributions.
  • Plan holiday baskets and identify clients in need.
  • Participate in community hunger initiatives and create educational opportunities.
  • Track donations, manage volunteer delivery processes, and maintain relationships with local food banks.
  • Collaborate with program staff to monitor client intake and expand data tracking via Electronic Health Records.
  • Prepare monthly reports and coordinate facility tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years in non-profit, with at least 1 year in program oversight.
  • Experience with volunteer recruitment and management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean record.
  • Cultural sensitivity and customer service experience.
