Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pantry Cook to join our team at our Palm Desert location. Our cooks uphold high standards for quality, sanitation, and service while preparing salads and desserts and supporting line checks.

You should have 1–3 months of related experience or training. We offer competitive pay from 16.90 to 20.90 USD per hour, flexible shifts, benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement in a diverse, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality, sanitation, and pantry station.
• Assure timely preparation of all salads and desserts.
• Support line check process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper temperature of equipment and perform opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
