Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pantry Cook to maintain the pantry station with the highest standards for food quality, sanitation, and maintenance. You will ensure timely salad and dessert prep, support line checks, and complete prep sheets each shift.

You will handle station prep, teach safe handling of tools and surfaces, and manage opening/closing tasks and side work. CPK emphasizes teamwork, guest-focused service, and a fun, collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience or training.
• Experience with high standards for food quality and sanitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain highest standards for food quality, sanitation, and maintenance in Pantry station.
• Ensure timely preparation of all salads and desserts.
• Support line check process and complete prep par sheets every shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment.
• Maintain proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
