Job summary

Tommy Bahama in Honolulu is seeking team-oriented culinary staff to join our island-inspired restaurant. You will be responsible for mastering menus, preparing cold foods, and delivering great hospitality to guests.

This role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long shifts, and safe use of kitchen tools. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and location, with full-time benefits provided.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Possess complete knowledge and ensure timely execution of all food menus/recipes – including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation
• Practice the preparation of cold foods, such as salads, dressings, appetizers and dessert
• Actively participate in a team environment, demonstrating genuine hospitality and team player skills to promote culinary success
• Help create a clean, safe, professional and upbeat environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently
• Bending/stooping/kneeling required – frequently
• Routine standing for duration of shift
• Safely maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
