Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a Panelboard Coordinator - Line 4a (B-Shift). Hours are 3pm-1am (Mon-Thurs).

The role partners with the Supervisor to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment while upholding Eaton’s quality standards. Responsibilities include reviewing orders and related documents, guiding a manufacturing team, maintaining safety and lean practices, and communicating progress across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Within 50 miles of Sumter, SC; no relocation benefits.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct with the supervisor to meet production goals and service objectives.
• Ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment and uphold Eaton’s quality standards.
• Promote a safe, inclusive culture and address concerns promptly.
• Prioritize urgent orders and coordinate with manufacturing.
• Review orders and drawings, BOMs, and other docs for clarity.
• Provide updates on order status and resolve production issues.
• Support team training and development; promote cross‑department teamwork.

Job description

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Panelboard Coordinator - Line 4a (B-Shift). The hours for this position are 3pm-1am (Mon-Thurs).

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hr per hour.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

In the Process Coordinator role, you will work with the Supervisor to provide guidance, and direction in all areas as to increase profitability, align performance with production goals, and meet customer service objectives with the overall goal of timely order fulfillment and adherence to Eaton’s quality standards.

Essential Functions

You will promote a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by proactively addressing and resolving concerns, and escalating issues to your supervisor as appropriate.

You will work directly with the manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first.

You will review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) as needed to ensure the team has the appropriate information to complete the job and to assist with troubleshooting problems with the order documentation.

You will communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders, resolve issues with production and promote teamwork across departments.

You will serve as a subject matter expert and support functional training efforts of the team.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

2 years of manufacturing experience.

Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Must live within 50 miles of Sumter SC to be considered. No relocation benefits offered.

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree from an accredited institution.

Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to effectively manage projects and initiatives with multiple priorities.

Experience with Eaton systems including order entry (Vista), material management (DMM), MRP/ERP (AS400).

The employee is frequently required to walk; stoop; lift; carry; push; pull; and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds. The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.
