Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Wirer I for 2nd shift to wire control panels per customer specs. You will review orders, follow schematics, select correct wires, and perform crimping and labeling while maintaining quality and paperwork.

The role requires reading blueprints, using a range of hand and power tools, and adhering to safety rules. Physical lifting up to 40 lbs is involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend product specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience wiring control panels to meet customer specifications.
• Proficiency with standard paperwork and records.
• Ability to operate data entry on a computer.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders for correct parts and drawings.
• Follow schematics and layouts to wire panels to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure the use of the correct wires.
• Perform crimping and lugging activities and place Ty-base as per standards.
• Wire standard and some engineered panels.
• Perform quality inspections per the Quality Checklist.
• Apply all required labels.
• Complete and maintain all paperwork and records.
• Follow safety rules and maintain housekeeping standards.
