Job summary

The Advance Group is seeking a Panel Wiring Technician in Perrysburg, OH. The role involves building and wiring electrical control panels, reading schematics, and assembling components for industrial machinery on first shift.

You will use hand and power tools, work independently or with a team, lift up to 40 lbs, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. Overtime and occasional evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient with hand and power tools and basic testing equipment.

Panel Wiring Technician | Electrical Assembler | $17-$21/hr | 1st Shift | Perrysburg, OH

Job Duties for Panel Wiring Technician:

• Build and assemble electrical control panels using hand tools, power tools, and wiring tools
• Measure, cut, route, and terminate wires to proper lengths
• Wire electrical components including motors, sensors, switches, breakers, fuses, and control devices
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, and control drawings
• Install and connect electrical components according to specifications
• Verify wiring accuracy and ensure quality workmanship throughout the assembly process
• Assist with electrical assembly and wiring of industrial machinery as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements for Panel Wiring Technician:

• General knowledge and experience wiring electrical control panels
• Experience wiring motors, sensors, switches, breakers, fuses, and control panels
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and control drawings
• Familiarity with electrical symbols and control components
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Comfortable with physical work including bending, climbing under machinery, and working in tight spaces
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Shift for Panel Wiring Technician:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Overtime available until 4:00 PM when needed
• Occasional evenings and weekends based on project requirements

Pay for Panel Wiring Technician:

• $17-$21/hour based on experience
