Job summary

Exco Electric in Louisiana is seeking a Controls Panel Technician to build and assemble industrial control panels and junction boxes. You will read electrical schematics, install components, and work closely with Engineering and production teams to meet project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Build industrial control panels and junction boxes.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Install and terminate electrical components.
  • Maintain quality workmanship and follow company standards.
  • Work with Engineering and the production team to meet project schedules.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Exco Electric manufactures custom electrical equipment and components for industrial and commercial clients. With fabrication and assembly facilities in Egan and Crowley, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas, we serve customers across the U.S.

Job Summary

We are willing to train the right candidate. Previous experience building industrial control panels is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to producing quality work.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build industrial control panels and junction boxes.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Install and terminate electrical components.
  • Maintain quality workmanship and follow company standards.
  • Work with Engineering and the production team to meet project schedules.
  • Assist with maintaining an organized and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. These responsibilities are consistent with the current Controls Panel Technician job description.
