Job summary

Champion Personnel is seeking a dependable Panel Saw Operator in Brooklyn Heights, OH for a Monday–Friday first shift. You will operate an automated panel saw to cut large sheets of wood-based materials, read cutting specs, load material, and verify dimensions for accurate production.

Ideal candidates have woodworking or cabinet manufacturing experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and work well in a small, team-oriented shop with hands-on training and opportunities for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Woodworking or cabinet manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating a panel saw or similar automatic saw is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate an automated panel saw to cut sheet wood-based materials.
• Read work orders and follow cutting specifications precisely.
• Load materials, verify measurements, and ensure safe operation.
• Stack finished pieces on carts and maintain a clean work area.
• Track production quantities, scrap, and cutting errors.
