Job description

Creative Surfaces Inc; a national manufacturing company of custom store fixtures, signage, and countertops for retail, automotive, and casino industry with manufacturing facilities in Sioux Falls, SD and Rapid City, SD is seeking a Panel Line Operator to work in our Commercial Cabinet Division in Sioux Falls, SD. Panel Line Operator sets up and operates a panel laminating press. Creative Surfaces Inc offers a competitive hourly wage, paid time off, insurance, and 401(k).

Requirements

• Set up and operate a panel laminating press
• Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
• Check in materials: ensuring the proper material was received based on purchase order and production demand
• Put in purchase request for raw materials needed to ensure seamless flow in production
• Determine needs in production flow and request assistance as demand becomes high
• Clean, maintain and service machines as required on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis while requesting outside support as needed
• Manage and assist safe packaging of completed products, ensuring documentation paperwork is completed, notifying Management of any missing or non-conforming parts
• Reproduce non-conforming parts to ensure final delivery dates are met
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned
• Experience running and maintaining a panel press
• Casework industry experience preferred

• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 lbs and occasionally lift and move up to 75 lbs
