Job summary

Indicon LLC is seeking a Panel Kitting Team Associate in Sterling Heights, MI to support panel shop operations. You will gather components from BOMs, assemble kits, and maintain accurate inventory to keep production moving. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and basic Excel skills in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include receiving parts, processing transactions, coordinating with shop leads, and ensuring stockroom cleanliness and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and follow Bills of Material (BOMs).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift, move, organize and package materials.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Review BOMs and gather components for production jobs.
• Assemble and stage material kits for the panel shop per schedules.
• Use inventory systems to locate parts and maintain accurate records.
• Process inventory transactions (add/remove/adjust quantities).
• Support shop leads with urgent production needs (missing/damaged/incorrect parts).
• Receive incoming materials and verify against PO and packing slips.
• Assist with shipping and receiving as needed.
• Maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with production, shop leads, and materials management to ensure workflow.
