Job summary

DNOW is seeking a Technician I to assist in the assembly, wiring, and preparation of control panels and automation enclosures under close supervision. This role emphasizes foundational panel assembly and developing technical skills while ensuring a safe, clean work area.

Responsibilities include basic wiring, component labeling, documenting updates, and supporting cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates bring strong attention to detail and a collaborative spirit in a manufacturing setting in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional management experience.
• WMS/SAP knowledge.
• Communication skills, both oral and written.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to motivate and influence people.
• Organizing, planning, and problem solving skills.
• Team player with good statistical and numerical ability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate business and operational processes for opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Identify recurring problems, rework, equipment failures, customer concerns, and process gaps.
• Lead or assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Work with department leaders to develop and implement practical process improvements.
• Help develop and maintain company procedures, workmanship expectations, and operational standards.
• Follow up on completed work and major projects to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback on equipment, service, communication, and overall experience.
• Help resolve significant or recurring customer quality concerns.
