Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Florence, KY is seeking a production line worker to stack panels, verify dimensions, and operate the panel coiler with strict attention to safety and quality.

This on-site, full-time role requires adherence to work orders and 5S practices within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will follow strict instructions, maintain equipment readiness, and support the Dry End group as needed by the Shift Supervisor or Group Lead.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a utility knife and common hand tools safely.
• Ability to read tape measure with decimal and fraction scale.
• Ability to operate line controls located after the shear.
• Ability to read and understand work order requirements.
• Familiarity with material acceptance standards per grading criteria.
• Trained in operation of the coiler.
• High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stack panels on skids or dollies.
• Check width and length; assist with measuring squareness of the panel.
• Operate panel coiler ensuring material is coiled straight.
• Label each panel per work order.
• Ensure automatic labelers are stocked at all times.
• Roll film at the treadmill on startups and changeovers.
• Count panels and notify lead when run or skid nears completion.
• Maintain 5S standards for the Dry End of the lines.
• Provide necessary support on the line as needed per supervisor.

Primary Functions:

• Stack panels on skids or dollies
• Checks width and length and assists the Dry End Group Lead with measuring squareness of the panel
• Operate panel coiler ensuring the material is coiled straight
• Label each panel per work order
• Ensure automatic labelers are stocked at all times
• Roll film at the treadmill on startups and changeovers
• Count panels and notify the Dry End Group Lead when a run or skid is near completion to signal changeover
• Maintain acceptable 5S standards for the Dry End of the lines
• Provide necessary support on the line wherever needed when issues arise as directed by the Shift Supervisor or the Group Lead
