Job summary

Serve electric, llc. is hiring an Electrician Apprentice - Panel Building for a large-scale project. The role focuses on building and wiring electrical panels with initial work in Ohio, requiring at least 6 months of hands-on experience and basic electrical knowledge.

Travel to Ohio for the first months is expected, with 60-hour weeks, and eventual transition to full-time travel across the U.S. A structured apprenticeship pathway is offered with potential licensure support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of relevant hands-on experience in panel building, panel wiring, or related electrical work.
• Basic electrical knowledge with familiarity of components, wiring and tools.
• Willingness to travel for extended periods to support projects.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical panels as the initial Ohio project focus.
• Install, organize, label, and terminate wires and components within panels.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specs.
• Assist with electrical work on industrial job sites as needed.
• Gain hands-on experience with 120V, 480V, and low-voltage systems.
• Work with experienced electricians on motor controls, transformers, switchboards and equipment.
• Measure, thread, bend, and run EMT and rigid conduit as required.
• Support team with tooling, materials, and site needs.
• Follow safety standards including PPE, OSHA, and NEC requirements.
