Job summary

Gabletek in Holland, MI is seeking an Industrial Controls Panel Builder / Electrician on a 2-month contract (possible extension). You will build and wire control panels from prints and perform field wiring on custom automation equipment.

This role requires reading schematics, wiring to 480VAC down to 24VDC, installing cable tray, and following NEC. Journeyman card preferred; high school diploma or equivalent; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders; forklift/aerial lift/overhead crane and

Qualifications

• Journeyman card strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Industrial Controls Panel Builder / Electrician (Contract)
2-month contract, can extend | Eligible for direct hire offers after 90 days | Located in Holland, MI

We’re looking for an electrician to build and wire industrial control panels and do field wiring on custom automation equipment, working from prints.

What You’ll Do

• -Build and wire control panels, including backplane layout to print
• -Do field wiring on custom machines to print
• -Install cable tray and run power, air and network drops to fit the line layout
• -Work on circuits from 480VAC down to 24VDC
• -Troubleshoot wiring and circuits and wire to NEC

What You Need

• -Experience with panel and control wiring
• -Strong at reading schematics and paying close attention to detail
• -Journeyman card strongly preferred
• -High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus
• -Comfortable climbing ladders, getting on and under machines, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• -Able to get forklift, aerial lift, overhead crane and LOTO certifications once on the job
