Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is hiring a Panel Builder in Auburn Hills, MI to construct custom industrial electrical control panels from schematics. The role requires experience reading electrical prints, layout, and full panel wiring with emphasis on safety and quality.

Workdays are Monday–Friday with steady weekday hours. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in panel building, can read schematics, and is comfortable with wiring and component installation for custom builds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in panel building, electrical assembly, or industrial electrical work.
• Proven ability to read and build from industrial electrical schematics (control panels).
• Comfortable with wiring, component installation, and layout work for custom builds.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical prints, industrial control panel schematics, and work instructions independently.
• Perform full panel assembly: layout, mounting, wiring, and component installation.
• Identify layout/material discrepancies and communicate issues to the lead.
• Use hand tools and power tools to build panels to spec and workmanship standards.
• Accurately use measurement tools (tape measure, T-square, torque wrench, scale).
• Support field installs and service calls as needed.
• Maintain quality checks, safety compliance, and clean/organized workstations.
• Work independently while supporting team workflow and production priorities.
