Allegion in Mount Comfort, IN is seeking a Panel Assembler to build components and final products on multiple manufacturing lines. You will use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment, following blueprints and work instructions, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of assembly experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Overtime and potential cross-training are part of the schedule.

• Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and equipment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment effectively.

• Ability to be flexible in role, adjusting to new processes or production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final products by following blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and machinery with proper setup and use.
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and address misaligned parts or equipment malfunctions.
• Inspect products for defects and conduct quality checks using measurement tools.
• Document production metrics, performance, and issues encountered during assembly.
• Adhere to safety protocols, use PPE, and report potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and store tools properly.
• Follow step-by-step written or verbal instructions.
• Be flexible by working overtime, cross-training, and adapting to new processes or technologies.
