Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or active BSN enrollment.
Michigan RN license required to practice.
Minimum 3 years in pediatric ICU/NICU or level 1 pediatric trauma.
Currently working in pediatric ICU/NICU or level 1 pediatric trauma.
BLS, NRP, PALS; ACLS or completion during orientation.
C‑NPT or ABLS completion within 1 year of hire.
Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, safe medical care to neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients transported by CHM Critical Care Transport Team.
Perform initial and ongoing assessments, initiating appropriate interventions.
Utilize nursing process, clinical judgment, and technical skills per policies and directives.
Coordinate and monitor the transport team; document care and logs.
Educate staff and participate in transport program policies and procedures.
Maintain transport equipment and supplies and participate in program evaluation.
