Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a dependable Floor Care Technician for the Round Rock facility, evenings (7:00 PM - 3:00 AM) in a healthcare environment. The role focuses on floor restoration, cleaning, and custodial support in a modern rehabilitation hospital, contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and staff.

You will operate buffers and waxers, buff and wax floors, and assist with routine cleaning while coordinating with nurses and therapists to meet daily facility needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of floor care, janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience.
• Experience operating floor care equipment such as buffers and waxing machines.
• Ability to lift, push, and move up to 50-100 lbs throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

We're seeking a dependable Floor Care Technician to join our Environmental Services team at a clean, modern rehabilitation hospital in Round Rock. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the appearance and safety of our facility through floor restoration, cleaning, and janitorial support during the evening shift.

What You’ll Do:

Buff, strip, and wax floors to maintain a polished, professional appearance throughout the hospital

Operate floor care equipment, including buffers, burnishers, waxers, and related machinery

Sweep, mop, and maintain patient areas, hallways, and common spaces

Respond to spills, scuffs, and floor hazards to help ensure a safe environment for patients and staff

Support general custodial and cleaning duties as needed

Follow healthcare-specific cleaning procedures and safety standards

Work closely with nurses, rehab technicians, and hospital staff to address facility needs

Move equipment and supplies weighing up to 50-100 lbs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
