CHI Health-CommonSpirit is adding to our Palliative Medicine Team in Lincoln, Nebraska

We are seeking a HPM Board eligible or Board Certified physician to join our growing Palliative Medicine team.

Join our consultative Palliative Medicine team, which includes Advanced Practice Providers, a Social Worker, a Chaplain, and dedicated staff.

• Average of 7 patient encounters per day per provider
• Collaborate with Hospital Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, and more
• Monday to Friday; no call

Catholic Health Initiatives is part of CommonSpirit, one of the nation's largest health systems dedicated to advancing health for all people.

This role will join 2 other Neurologists.

The practice is solo but will be moving into a new, state-of-the-art Outpatient Service Building.

Patient population includes MS, Parkinson's, Dementia, Alzheimer's, Seizures, Stroke, Balance Issues, Neuropathy, Migraine, ALS, Ataxia, Bell's Palsy, Cerebral Palsy.

Expected total patients per day: 15-18.

Inpatient on-call varies from 0-3 patients per day.

Consults: 13-15 per week, each lasting about 40 minutes.

Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday, 8am-4pm; Friday 8am-12pm.

Procedures include EMG, NCV, EEG, Lumbar Puncture, Botox, Occipital Blocks, Myobloc.

Call frequency: 9 days per month, including one weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
