Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Palliative Care RN to join the St Vincent Regional Hospital team in Billings, Montana. You will coordinate care, educate families, and support symptom management across the care continuum.

The role emphasizes whole-person care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a Monday–Friday schedule with no routine nights or weekends. BSN and an active RN license are required, with BLS certification also expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice; compact license transfers within 60 days if applicable.
• BSN from an accredited program; education will be verified.
• BLS certification required for Healthcare Providers.
• RNs with <12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care as a navigator for palliative care patients and families.
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, options, and resources.
• Assess symptoms and support symptom management plans with providers.
• Triages calls, questions, and care concerns from patients and families.
• Coordinate services across primary, specialty, hospice, home health, and community resources.
• Support advance care planning conversations and documentation.
• Provide ongoing follow-up and care coordination throughout the journey.
