Javon Bea Hospital - Rockford, IL seeks a Palliative Care Physician to join our inpatient team in Rockford, IL. This employed role offers a salary range of $245,000–$270,000 with comprehensive benefits and relocation support.

You will build a palliative care program, provide inpatient consultation services, collaborate with nurses, chaplains, social workers, and serve as a collaborating physician for nurse practitioners. EPIC EMR is used.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in a relevant field.
• MD/DO board certified/board eligible.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultation services in palliative care.
• Build and align a palliative care program with your practice patterns.
• Collaborate with palliative care nurses, chaplain and social workers.
• Serve as collaborating physician for nurse practitioners.
