Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician to join an established palliative care team in Coastal Virginia. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with an experienced interdisciplinary team, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

The position offers a competitive base salary with sign-on and commencement bonuses, a light call rotation, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
• Strong clinical expertise in symptom management and end-of-life care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient palliative care consultations with a focus on advanced symptom management.
• Lead complex medical decision-making discussions with patients, families, and care teams.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers.
• Mentor and support team members in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
• Provide light call coverage and support to nurse practitioners.
