Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Regional Medical Group is expanding its Palliative Care program across health network locations in the Chicago suburbs. We seek compassionate, innovative physicians to join a premier Palliative Medicine team and help grow clinics, inpatient consults, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities include a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, symptom management, and developing goals of care.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine required.
• Board eligibility or certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (BE/BC).
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient palliative care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a mix of inpatient and outpatient palliative care.
• Manage complex symptoms and comfort measures.
• Develop and facilitate goals of care in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in process improvement and program development.

Northwestern Medicine is expanding its Palliative Care program across health network locations throughout the Chicago suburbs. We are seeking compassionate, innovative physicians to be part of this ambitious initiative to expand what is already the premier Palliative Medicine program in Chicagoland.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• * A mix of inpatient and outpatient care
• * Symptom management
• * Develop and facilitate goals of care in the inpatient and outpatient setting
• * Participate in process improvement and program development
